Pambelé's debut album fuses Afro-Colombian roots with 60s psychedelia, blending percussion, wild organs, and trance-like energy in a vibrant Caribbean sound.

Rich in centuries of creolization*, the music of the Caribbean basin is among the most diverse in the world, and with Sono Mondiale, repertoires cross the oceans and are constantly enriched in a sonic and narrative mise en abîme.
Pambelé's debut album blends Afro-Colombian influences with the acidic, piercing sounds of the sixties psychedelic movement. This cross-fertilization is a powerful expression of the group's transatlantic and definitively Caribbean cultural universality.
Traditional percussion instruments from the north coast of Colombia intertwine and mingle with the joyful cadence of the vocals, while the chiselled words of the guitars, accompanied by the voluptuous sounds of wild organs, draw us into a torrid, exuberant atmosphere.
Pambelé's debut opus is a bewitching trance, a condensed blend of raw, composite material. A boundless playground where the culture of trance, improvisation and dance is the very essence of its strength.

The French-Afropean duo is back with a new funky masterpiece album! DjeuhDjoah & Lieutenant Nicholson are French composers and afro-soul singers. The duo are creating a new vibe with French sounds and mixing it with Jazz, Afrobeat, Electronic and Soul. T’es qui ? was their first album released in 2015 and re-released a year later under the name Remets t'es qui? It was result of an intense collaboration that has lasted many years, on stage and in the studio. They call their music “Afropean songs”, a collection of Jazzy-Pop melodies, Afro-Soul and Funk arrangements. This new album has 15 songs, and features a tribute to the famous poet Aimé Césaire on the title. The Antilles are also honored with creole lyrics, and if you listen carefully – you’ll hear them distilled within the album. La Montagne Pelée's eruption in 1902 is evoked under the prism of “August Cyparis”, one of the three survivors. The rhythms are tight and focused, with some Antilles, but also Detroit elements thrown in, accompanied with a strong horns section, vibraphone and analog drums. There are lots of echoes from the era of Jazz funk and the lyrical French Mode, mixed with some slightly warmer currents that show their wider love of modern funk and eclectic tastes. It is a unique sound, an original recipe, using French wordplay with a universal message. Last summer, they presented the now critically acclaimed first single “El Nino”, an Afro-Funk gem about climate change, and “Fontaine”, an Afro hit with a great combination of analog take and electronic dance floor ingredients. With massive support from national radios and prestigious international DJs such as Gilles Peterson, Aimez ces airs could be one of the Top funky albums of 2019!Limited press on a deluxe double vinyl cover designed by the artist Felix, mastered by Dj Vas.
One of the two new 7" from All Nations Records coming early 2022 is a rework of a legendary tune that all reggae fans know. “I Know Myself” from Ernest Wilson has been a regular play by all champion sounds from Sir Cosxone to Jah Shaka and alikes since late 70’s. Never would be the intention to do better, but All Nations Records likes to do his thing a little bit different, so Simon Nyabinghi has rebuilt the tune entirely in his studio in 2022 style. With a clever recipe of carefully picked sounds and a grooving way of playing, it has the original vibes with a bouncing twist that should suit to all original fans and beyond. All in all, a great humble tribute to a legendary artist sadly gone to zion earlier in 2021.
«Tchenbé !» The New Therapeutic Album from DowdelinThis deeply introspective new opus tackles the personal and emotional challenges we all face at some point in our lives. Dowdelin explores themes of depression, life’s ups and downs and resilience, served up by Caribbean sounds and lyrics in Creole, French and English, at the confluence of jazz, electronic music and even the most percussive soul.
Following the recent release of their 2nd longplayer, "180.000 Miles & Counting", The Dynamics are back in 2012 with a dope remixes package of their new single "For the Love of Money".We couldn't resist to ask the mysterious bootleg Kings 7 Samurai (GAMM) to do a remix, and he turned the track in a massive Reggae-Disco version. There are lots of Steel Funk recordings by huge orchestras from Trinidad and other Caribbean islands. We were wondering what would become "For The Love of Money" in their hands, the answer is given by the master of Deep Funk, The Mighty Mocambos, with the participation of the Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band .
After the famous Andre Tanker’s “Back Home”, Jamwax is very proud to reissue River Come Down in its 12'' version. Originally released on the Contraband label in 1979 and recorded at famous Semp studio in Trinidad, “River Come Down” is a blend of islands funk, soul, disco, soca with also a touch of gospel: “River, the river come down, the river come down, the river down...wind blow like a hurricane...the river come down, washing the right, washing the wrong, washing the weak, washing the strong, the river come down...”On the other side you will find an obscure synth instrumental released on an impossible to find 7'' in 1986. “Movin Round” was produced by Andre Tanker for Horace Wilson's Turn of The Tide. This song was absolutely under the radar and remains a strong banger for any dances.
