Following successful projects such as Metropolitan Jazz Affair, The Dynamics and Mr. President, Bruno “Patchworks” Hovart originally released the Uptown Funk Empire’s album in 2009. Now sold-out for quite a while and still on demand, The Empire Strikes Back is finally reissued.

Bruno Hovart, as a self-taught musician and typical teenager, started playing guitar, bass and keyboards at age 15, covering James Brown, Jimi Hendrix and Cream in his bedroom and, later in college bands. His first releases are in the mid-90s, with deep-house and disco live bands and various electronic projects. He quickly develops and shows very special skills for vintage Disco/Funk productions with a contemporary flavor. This gifted boy’s been working with artists such as Amp Fiddler, Archie Shepp, Mr Day, Paul Randolph... and for many recording labels such as I Still Music (US), Favorite Recordings (FR), Infracom (DE), Further Out (UK)...

Uptown Funk Empire is an exciting and ambitious project, worthy of its name. It’s like being back to the better days of Funk without a travel machine... the vibe is vintage but the sound is fresh... This album is huge and it covers all styles of the Groove music golden age: Boogaloo, Soul, Disco, Boogie, Funk... With brilliant vocal by silky Juan Rozoff, Brit-Soul legend Noel McKoy at his best, high-voltage divas Ange & Janice... and Bruno himself on the mic... it’s pure funkiness! Working on his second album after two EPs upcoming soon, it makes no doubt that it's only the beginning for Folamour.NIT: NIT is the studio project of the French musician Corentin Kerdraon. After several years working at radios in Paris he released a first EP called Dessous de Plage in May 2017, displaying condensed grooves with multiple references, from Jean-Claude Vannier to Dam Funk... Alternating Pop projects and more experimental compositions he's present on different musical scenes as keyboard player and producer. He has just recorded an EP for the American singer COLA BOY released in spring 2018 on the French label Record Makers.

This Incredible afro-soul album was recorded in Italy in 1974 by the two Nigerians Ezy Hart and Isaac Olashugba. Ezy is known for his vocals while Isaac for playing saxophone. They are ex-members of Fela Kuti’s Hi-Life Jazz band, The Koola Lobitos and The Don Ezekiel Combination. After doing amazing collaborations together, recording a few Christian-Funk albums, and touring all over West Africa, these two finally settled in Italy were, after almost two decades, they not only toured through the all country, but also through Switzerland and Monte-Carlo.The Funky Fella, a group of 12 top Italian musicians such as Maestro Leoni from Rifi records, produced three albums with Ezy and Isaac. The first one is called Soul Rock and is considered as a Soul masterpiece. It contains the bomb track called “Bawagbe” ; This track is very tuff, hypnotic afro-soul groove with ruff Yoruba chants, smacking congas, afro horns, funky breaks and a wicked percussion breakdown of rattling cowbells. It`s a very unique collectors’ item for the afro-funk lovers and more. We’re also including a bonus track called “I’m Ready For you”, coming from the rare funky 7inch released in 1976.Soul Rock is considered gold-dust, it`s the Holy Grail of Afro-Italian funk.
